Project Overview
This poster aims to educate about the biological life cycles of ghost crabs.
Additionally, the poster aims to raise awareness of human behaviors that disrupt the habitats, leading to a decrease in the abundance of ghost crabs. Often times, visits to the beach can lead to the direct crushing of the crabs or indirect damage through compression of sediments, which reduces habitat suitability, interferes with reproductive behaviors, reduces food supply, and increases light pollution. Increasing awareness of ghost crabs can raise awareness of maintaining harmony amongst other species.
The goal of this poster was also to practice using ZBrush, understand the workflow, and build a strong composition that conveys visual flow to illustrate the life cycle of the ghost crab.
