Sharon Tran will be graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with an M.S. in Biomedical Visualization. She received a B.F.A with an emphasis on Scientific Illustration and a minor in Biology from the University of Georgia.

 

She has 5 years of experience in illustration and animation using Maxon Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and ZBrush. She also has experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Substance Painter, Articulate Storyline and Rise, and ZBrush.

 

While she is interested in creating 2-D animations and patient education, she also enjoys designing interactive media for e-learning modules and serious games. As a trained multimedia medical artist, she strives to create scientifically accurate and engaging visuals that serve as accessible, educational resources for patients, especially underrepresented minorities, and scientists.

During her free time, she enjoys journaling, traveling, and exploring different cafes to taste many types of caffeine!
